Website redesign that keeps the traffic you have

Most redesigns that go wrong go wrong the same way: new site, new URLs, no redirects — and months of search traffic gone overnight. We rebuild slow, dated, or unmanageable sites on a modern framework and carry the rankings, content, and structure across, so the new site launches ahead of the old one rather than starting from zero.

Signs it's time

  • It's slow on a phone, and you're losing visitors before the page loads
  • Editing a price or a phone number means emailing whoever built it
  • It doesn't appear when you search your own services and town
  • It looks years older than your competitors' sites
  • A form broke at some point and you're not sure enquiries are arriving
  • The business has changed and the site still describes the old one
  • Nobody's sure who owns the hosting, the domain, or the platform

What a redesign with us includes

One project, handled end to end — the audit, the design, the rebuild, the migration, and the redirects — by the people who then host and maintain it.

Audit and plan

We go through the current site — what ranks, what converts, what's slow, what's broken — and map exactly what carries over, what gets rebuilt, and what gets dropped.

Content migration

The pages, copy, and images that already earn traffic move across intact. Nothing that's working gets lost in the switch.

Rebuild on a modern framework

The new site is built from scratch on Next.js — fast, clean, and stable — instead of another theme stacked with plugins.

Ranking protection

A full URL map with 301 redirects, preserved page structure, and metadata carried over, so the rankings you have survive the move.

Performance and search

Load speed, mobile layout, technical SEO, and analytics rebuilt to current standards as part of the project, not sold on after.

Launch and aftercare

We handle the cutover, watch Search Console for the weeks after, and keep the new site maintained on a monthly plan.

Refresh, rebuild, or start over?

Refresh

The structure and speed are fine. It needs a current design, new photography, and rewritten content — not a new foundation.

Rebuild

Slow, hard to maintain, on an ageing platform, or unowned. Keep the messaging and content that works; replace everything under it.

Start over

The business itself has changed enough that the old site — and most of its content — no longer reflects what you do.

The audit decides which one you're actually in. Send us the URL through the quote form and we'll tell you straight — including "it's fine, don't spend the money."

Protecting your search rankings

This is the part cheap redesigns skip. Every page on your current site has a URL that Google has indexed and, in some cases, ranked. If those URLs change and nothing tells search engines where the content moved, the rankings attached to them disappear — and they don't always come back.

Before launch we build a complete map of every existing URL to its equivalent on the new site, with a 301 redirect for anything that moves. Page titles, headings, and meta descriptions that earn clicks are carried across. Internal links are updated so nothing points at a dead page. After the cutover we submit the new structure to Google and watch Search Console for crawl errors and ranking movement through the settling weeks.

How much does a website redesign cost?

It comes down to the size of the current site, how much content is being migrated, and whether you need a visual refresh or a full rebuild. A five-page brochure site and a thirty-page site with a blog and a booking system are not the same project.

We don't publish fixed redesign prices because the scope varies too much to be useful. The pricing page shows how our plans are structured, this breakdown covers what moves the price across the market, and the quote form returns a number for your specific site.

How the project runs

01

Audit & scope

We review the existing site and agree what to keep, rebuild, and cut — with a redirect plan.

02

Design

A brand-aligned design for the new site, mapped page by page against the old one, that you approve before the build.

03

Build & migrate

We build the new site, move the content that stays, and set up every redirect.

04

Launch & monitor

We cut over, submit the changes to Google, and watch rankings and errors through the settling period.

Website redesign — common questions

Will I lose my Google rankings in a redesign?

Not if it's done properly. The risk comes from changing URLs without redirects, dropping pages that rank, or losing metadata. We map every old URL to a new one with a 301 redirect, keep the content that earns traffic, and carry the metadata across. Handled this way, a redesign holds rankings through the move and usually improves them once the site is faster and better structured.

Can you keep my current content?

Yes. Anything that's working — service pages, copy, images, posts — comes across. The redesign changes the foundation and the design, not the substance you've built up.

How long does a website redesign take?

Most redesigns launch in about two to three weeks. The timeline depends on the size of the current site and how quickly review and feedback come back. We give you a realistic schedule after the audit.

Do you redesign Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress sites?

Yes. We move sites off page-builders and off ageing WordPress installs onto a modern framework. The migration keeps your content and redirects the old URLs so search traffic follows.

What if only part of the site needs work?

Then that's all we do. Sometimes the structure and speed are fine and the site just needs a visual refresh and new content. The audit tells us — and if a full rebuild isn't warranted, we'll say so.

Do you host the site afterwards?

Yes. The redesigned site is hosted and maintained by us on one monthly plan — hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, updates, and content changes — so it stays current after launch.

Do you need access to my current site to quote it?

Just the URL to start. We can assess the page count, structure, and rough migration effort from the live site. Hosting and CMS logins come later, once the project is agreed. The quote form walks through the essentials and comes back with a plan and a number.

Send us your current site

We'll audit it and come back with whether it needs a refresh, a rebuild, or nothing at all — plus a plan, a timeline, and a price.
